Veneers

Veneers

Veneers are very thin slices of natural wood (usually 0.5–3 mm thick) that are glued onto a base material like plywood, MDF, or particle board. They provide the appearance of solid wood while using less timber, making furniture more cost-effective and stable.

Why veneers are used

  • Give furniture a natural wood look

  • More affordable than solid wood

  • Available in many wood species and patterns

  • Used for luxury furniture, wall panels, doors, and cabinets
